For each category the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has established the modules and knowledge level that are required to be able to obtain a certain category.
Qualification on basic subjects for each Part-66 aircraft maintenance licence category or sub-category is based on the basic modules as follows:

Traditional in Classroom courses are held at Aviotrace locations (Lugano and Gallarate) by qualified and EASA certified instructors. The courses are supported by advanced multimedia and textual material according to a training calendar. Includes practical part in hangar recognized as a credit by EASA.
Minimum number of participants to activate a class: 6
By request specific courses can be held at the customer site with every course methodology, also blended, to satisfy every specific need.
The Remote/Virtual Classroom courses are equivalent to traditional in Classroom courses with no needs of relocation and the possibility of fruition of multimedia contents in every moment from every location.
- Access to multimedia and textual contents according to a training plan.
- Access to web-classroom (video-conference) lessons with web-instructor according to a calendar, as a coverage of textual (non-multimedia) parts.
- Continuous support and supervision by a Tutor for the monitoring of activities and progresses.
- Personal support by a web-instructor possible by request.
- Limited number of students (3) required to activate a class.
DL courses allow the access to textual and multimedia contents of the single AML modules developed by Aviotrace according to EASA syllabi. Contents are usable in complete independence according to your need and learning pace. No usage limit is imposed during the validity of the contract.
Only requires a PC or a MAC computer with Internet connection (not necessarily continuous). No particular hardware configuration is required.
Aviotrace Swiss is an approved EASA Part 147 training organisation. We carry out examinations for each Part-66 module, in accordance with our approval*.
We offer the following different solutions:
Examination: examination on site including the possibility of a brief review session with access to multimedia material and the presence of a tutor for any support.
Examination - Supported: examination supported by access to multimedia material, on distance learning system, to lead customer self study (1-2 hours, depending on module). Possibility to buy separately extra hours of access (with discount) and time of web-instructor for clarification and specific additional information.
Examination - Fully Supported: examination with full access to training notes on web.
